Negociation of price

When you buy property in Denmark it may be difficult to see through the current market and price development.

At PrivatRevision we often assist our clients with negotiating the price on a property they may wish to buy. The advantages of using a professional adviser are several:

  • The adviser is a professional in the market like the real estate agent representing (always) the seller. It will often be easier for two advisers to settle where the lowest possible price may be.
  • The adviser has no feelings involved. The real estate agent and perhaps the seller knows this. This will often make the room for negociation less complex, and we may be far more convincing with a take-it-or-leave-it offer.
  • It may also be easier for us to get back into a negociation if the first bid was not accepted or if negotiations are unsuccessful the first time. Many sellers do not like when someone bids to low on their beloved home. It may be an advantage to have a representative for the buyer to be the insensitive one.
  • We make sure that the conditions stays reasonable even if the price is lowered.
  • And then we do off course have comprehensive experience in the prices of property and especially in the areas where our clients mainly buy property (Copenhagen, Northern Sealand/Sjælland and Aarhus-region and other major cities).

We take a fee of 10% of the reduction of price due to our negotiations.
